Airbnb cleaning fee calculator
Enter your nightly rate and cleaning fee. Each price tag shows what a 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7-night stay costs the guest in total and per night, and flags the stays where cleaning adds more than your limit. You get a suggested minimum stay and the nightly rate to charge if you fold the fee in.

Charge $132.50 a night and no cleaning fee: the same money on a 2-night stay, and more on longer ones.

How it works
For each stay length, the room price is the nightly rate times the nights, with your weekly discount taken off stays of 7 nights or more. The guest's total is the room price plus one cleaning fee. Dividing that total by the nights gives the price per night the guest really pays.
The cleaning share is the cleaning fee divided by the room price. A tag is flagged when that share is above your limit — 25% by default — because guests comparing listings look at the price per night, and short stays start to look expensive.
The suggested minimum stay is the shortest stay whose cleaning share is within your limit. Folding the fee in means charging no cleaning fee and adding it to the nightly rate instead: the rate shown earns the same money on a stay of that minimum length, and more on longer ones.
- room price = nightly rate × nights × (1 − weekly discount, from 7 nights)
- guest total = room price + cleaning fee
- price per night = guest total ÷ nights
- cleaning share = cleaning fee ÷ room price
- minimum stay = shortest stay with cleaning share ≤ your limit
- folded nightly rate = nightly rate + cleaning fee ÷ minimum stay

Questions hosts ask
How much should I charge for cleaning on Airbnb?
Start from what one turnover really costs you — cleaner, laundry and supplies — then look at the 1 and 2-night tags. If cleaning adds more than about a quarter to the price per night, short stays look expensive next to listings without a fee.
Is it better to put cleaning into the nightly rate?
It makes short stays look cheaper in search, because the price shown is closer to what the guest pays. The trade-off is that long stays pay more than cleaning really costs, which a weekly discount can soften.
What minimum stay should I set?
Use the shortest stay where the cleaning fee is within your limit, then adjust by season: allow shorter stays to fill gaps between bookings, and ask for longer ones on busy dates.
