Airbnb turnover planner
Enter the check-out and check-in times, your cleaners and how long the clean takes. The timeline lays every task end to end and shows whether the room is ready in time, how many minutes you have spare or short, and which late checkout or early check-in you can safely offer. You also get a printable cleaner schedule.

What Santara AI does for you
In Santara AI, the cleaning schedule builds itself from your bookings
- 01 Every check-out becomes a cleaning task on one board. Assign cleaners by name and send the day's jobs to them on WhatsApp or Zalo.
- 02 An email alert on mornings when a guest arrives the same day as a check-out, so a tight turnover is never a surprise.
- 03 When the calendar has room, Santara AI suggests early check-in and late checkout offers you can send the guest.

How it works
The window is the time between one guest's check-out and the next guest's check-in. If the check-in time is at or before the check-out time, it is read as the next day. Every task is then laid end to end from check-out: an allowance for a guest who leaves late, travel, cleaning, beds, a final check and a buffer before the next arrival.
Cleaning time is the minutes one cleaner needs, divided by the number of cleaners, plus 5 minutes for each extra person to split the rooms and hand over. Two people make beds faster than one, but three are no faster than two, so bed time is divided by two at most. If you wash and dry the same set on site, the machine starts once the beds are stripped and runs while the room is cleaned. The beds can only be made when the dryer finishes, so a long cycle sets the pace, not the size of the crew.
Slack is the window minus the work. Spare minutes can be sold as a late checkout (check-out plus slack, rounded down to 15 minutes) or an early check-in (check-in minus slack, rounded up to 15 minutes), but both come out of the same minutes. The quick estimate of 30 minutes plus 30 per bedroom and 20 per bathroom is only an example: time your own cleaner and change it.
- window = check-in − check-out (next day if check-in ≤ check-out)
- cleaning = one-cleaner minutes ÷ cleaners + 5 × (cleaners − 1)
- work = buffers + travel + cleaning + beds + final check
- on-site laundry: beds wait for the later of cleaning and wash + dry
- slack = window − work
- late checkout = check-out + slack, rounded down to 15 min
- early check-in = check-in − slack, rounded up to 15 min

Questions hosts ask
How long should a turnover take?
There is no single answer: it depends on the size of the place, the linen and how your cleaner works. Time two or three real cleans and use your own number.
Can I offer early check-in or late checkout?
Only when the plan shows spare minutes, and usually only one of the two unless the slack covers both. If you charge for it, make sure your cleaner can really be there on time that day.
How many cleaners do I need for a same-day turnover?
Add one cleaner at a time and watch the slack. A second person nearly halves the cleaning time; by the third or fourth, handover eats most of the gain, and an on-site washer gets no faster with more people.
